Next up for the Mexico-born Hayek is a wedding and a baby carriage.
Pregnancy rumors started after this shot of Hayek surfaced a few days ago
Big news for the 40 year-old actress. Hollywood star, Salma Hayek and the French chairman and chief executive officer of the luxury goods company PPR SA ( high-end labels owner such as Gucci, Yves Saint Laurent, Balenciaga and Stella McCartney) Francois-Henry Pinault, are engaged, and pregnant with her first child.
“Businessman, Francois-Henry Pinault and his fiancée Salma Hayek are expecting the arrival of their first child” her spokeswoman Carry Ross said.
No further details were provided.
The couple have kept a relatively low profile since their relationship began, though Hayek has joined Pinault for occasional public events, including one in October at the festivities surrounding the inauguration of the Pinault Foundation´s Modern Art collection in Venice´s Gritti Palace.
The Oscar nominee can currently be seen as a two-faced magazine editor in Channel 4´s “Ugly Betty”, wich she also executive produces.
