Prince William and Kate Middleton may have reignited their romance according to the British newspapers
The two, both 25, attended a party earlier this month at an army barracks where William is posted as an army officer, the reports say.
The couple, who ended their relationship of four years in April, was reportedly seen dancing and making out at a June 9 Army party before disappearing to William’s private quarters.
"Kate and William have been in touch and secretly seeing each other for about a month now,” a source said.
The Prince had invited his ex to join him at a troop leader's party titled “Freakin’ Naughty” to celebrate the end of one of his Army courses.
Middleton was reportedly quite the social butterfly at the Moulin Rouge-themed bash, which drew about 150 guests.
"She spent the night chatting with William, but also flitting around from one group to another,” a witness at the party said.
"In the end, he just grabbed her and took her on to the dance floor where they started doing some rather close dancing. They couldn't keep their hands off each other but William didn't care that people were looking.
“They were incredibly well matched, but she's told us she's trying to work out what she wants and whether she really does want to get back with him,” the source said.
"At about midnight, he started kissing and smooching her. His friends were joking they should get a room, and it wasn’t long before William took Kate back to his quarters."
William has also invited Middleton, who is an accessories buyer at a company called Jigsaw, to attend a memorial concert to his late mother, Princess Diana, to be held at London's Wembley Stadium next Sunday, the Mail on Sunday reported.
However, a Middleton pal says that she still hasn’t decided whether or not she’s ready for a full-fledged relationship.
But another friend adds: "Kate's not really a rebound sort of girl and William remains the great love of her life."
A spokeswoman for William’s Clarence House office declined to comment on the reports.
“We don’t discuss William’s private life, it’s a matter for him,” she said, on customary condition of anonymity, in line with policy.
William, second in line to the British throne and a second lieutenant in the country's army, celebrated his 25th birthday on Thursday and gained access to part of the inheritance left him by his mother.
