I have a theory as to what happened to Michael. When he was a kid, he had a crush on Diana Ross. This is pretty well known. Growing up in the music industry spotlight, coupled with the abusive relationship with his father, stunted his maturity. In many ways, he is still just a child.
I think he truly does love children and wants to do right by them. I think he wanted to be with Diana Ross so much, that he has made himself to look like her. Doing so, he feels that the best gift he could give to a boy is Diana Ross. Since he can't do that, he has transformed himself into her and gives himself instead.
I didn't say this would be rational or would excuse his behavior. He is still a sick man.

Anyone heard of what is happening with Michael? I haven't heard anything about him for ages which makes a change. I thought with spring coming that he would be unveiling some projects but haven't heard a thing. Anyone else hear anything?

Doesn't he freak you out? Well, he freaks me out...it's like he's an alien! :-) I saw a recent picture of Jacko with kids in Japan. The kids looked really excited to see him. I wouldn't be too excited to see him. I'd be scared to death!

I think he seems to be all washed up at this point I mean he is really starting to deteriorate and has had some bad publicity, I am not saying he could make a come back he could very well surprise us all and do just that.

I just saw him on the news where he was performing for the world music awards and got booed off stage because the audience was expecting him to sing Thriller, but he came on and just sang a few lines of We are the World. Newscasters were saying that he was really nervous backstage and Beyonce had to convince him to come out and sing. He's such a great performer; I wish he'd get some good therapy ... but maybe he's too far beyond that already.
